Nobility 215a White: An impressive white wine with an elegant presence and a wealth of flavors. Chardonnay grapes make up more than 90% of this wine, finished with a touch of Sauvignon Blanc. The Chardonnay part of the wine undergoes fermentation and aging in oak barrels, where it develops impressive fruit flavors, minerality, and a trace of oak aroma.
***The name 215a was added to the Nobility label in memory of Sergeant Maj. Yitzhak Tamir, brother of our winegrower Shmuel Tamir-RIP, who was killed in the Yom Kippur War (1973) in Sinai. 215a was Yitzhak’s radio code when he served as commander of a unit that rescued and saved many injured soldiers in the battlefield.
The wine has an aging potential of a minimum of 5 years.
