Five Stones Vineyards is a vibrant hub of wine lovers, winegrowers, and winemakers alike, all of whom share a passion for the curation of quality, compromise-free wine. No shortcuts, no detours. Only excellence. We chose to grow our wine on lands that are saturated with symbolism, lands where that slim youth David once battled the seasoned warrior Goliath.
And the essence of this tale filters into our ethos:
faith over might, simplicity over complexity, substance over ostentation.
Five Stones Vineyards was established to produce unique, innovative, and inspirational wines saturated with the values and perceptions that took root in us as wine experts over the years:
respect for the land, humility towards nature, love for the vine, passion for wine,
and professional excellence.
“Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to battle, and they were gathered together at Sokhoh, which belonged to Judah, and set up camp between Sokhoh and Azekah, in Ephes-Damim. And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together, and set up camp in the Elah Valley, and prepared for the battle against the Philistines. And the Philistines stood on the mountain on the one side, and Israel stood on the mountain on the other side; and there was a valley between them.”
Samuel 1, 17:1-3
Five Stones Vineyards can be found in Tel Azekah, nestled within the Elah Valley, a historic area known for the legendary battle between David and Goliath in 1010 BCE. Positioned at a strategic crossroads linking the coastal plains to Jerusalem and Bethlehem, the Elah Valley has long been valued for its geographical and agricultural significance, with evidence of settlement dating back to Israel’s tribal era. This elongated and narrow valley is blessed with fertile soils and ample rainfall, creating optimal conditions for cultivating premium vines. Enveloped by vast greenery, a wide variety of wildflowers, thriving forests, and remarkable archaeological sites, the Elah Valley is truly one of Israel’s most stunning natural landscapes.
Wine matures so well with age, we want to make sure you’re just as mature.
