Our spirit of endeavor is based on gentle and loving manual labor guided by the values and perceptions imbued in us as wine experts over the years. Our faith in the path we have chosen has resulted in the production of quality wines in which we devote meticulous attention to the smallest detail. All of our unique wines reflect the spirit of the vineyard and of the winemaker and the love that went into creating them. Our wines are made by people for people.
5 STONES VIRTUOUS
A perfectly harmonious wine with impressive intensity that reflects the vineyard terroir. The grapes were grown in a densely-planted vineyard that yielded low crops of concentrated fruit with intense color that reaches optimal ripeness when harvested.
A red wine under 5 Stone’s premium wine label that constitutes a unique an integrative blend of four choice wine varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Virtuous reflects the excellent quality of each variety in a perfect blend of flavor, deep color and dominant aroma.
5 STONES NOBILITY
The rich and full-bodied wines under the Nobility label offer absolute pleasure with each sip. Meticulous attention to phenolic ripening in the vineyard resulted in a top-quality vintage that is manifested in a balanced, elegant and intense product that aged in French oak barrels until fully ripe.
Nobility 215a Red – a red wine in the prestigious 5 Stones Nobility range offers a rich and dominant flavor experience. Nobility 215a is the result of a wise combination of terroir, meticulous care in the vineyard and the winemaker’s professionalism. It has a deep purple color and reflects the flavors of the three varieties that went into the blend in a way that emphasizes the best attributes of each one.
Nobility 215a White – an impressive white wine with an elegant presence and a wealth of flavors. It was made mainly from Chardonnay grapes (over 90%) with a touch of Sauvignon Blanc. The wine underwent fermentation and aging in new oak barrels, where it developed impressive fruit flavors, minerality and a trace of oak aroma.
***The name 215a was added to the Nobility label in memory of Sergeant Maj. Yitzhak Tamir, brother of our winegrower Shmuel Tamir, who was killed in the Yom Kippur War (1973) in Sinai. 215a was Yitzhak’s radio code when he served as commander of a unit that rescued and saved many injured soldiers in the battlefield.
5 STONES DvsG
A soft, elegant and complex wine with a Mediterranean character that reflects the terroir of its growing region, Tel Azekah. Its meticulous production process is evident in each sip.
DvsG Red – a red wine in the winery’s first wine range. It is a blend of Shiraz, Marselan, Carignan and Petite Sirah grapes from Elah Valley vineyards. The innovative blend of Mediterranean varieties with this terroir resulted in a wine with an intense, deep color that gives rise to an aroma of vines that yield juicy, red fruit. The wine was aged in used French oak barrels that preserve the fruit’s dominance and allows the wine’s flavor to develop in optimal conditions.
DvsG White – a white wine in the winery’s first wine range. It is a fresh-bodied and aromatic wine that reflects the optimal blend of Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. This creative combination resulted in a wine with balanced acidity backed by a mild sweetness. Its light aroma emphasizes the natural grape aroma and brings out the wine’s elegant, classic flavor.
